PETER ALDOUS IS MP OF THE WEEK.

Our hero this week is Peter Aldous (pictured), MP for Waveney. Mr Aldous has been campaigning hard for cheaper petrol and diesel prices, not just in the run-up to this week's autumn statement from the Treasury, but now for nearly THREE YEARS or more.

Speaking exclusively to PetrolPromise.com, he said:

"Oil prices and fuel duty have pushed up the cost of living massively. I have been making representations to the Government, asking them to give us a fair deal on petrol and diesel. To be fair to them, they have now frozen fuel duty for two years, which is good news. But I am urging them to go even further. We have to stop the seemingly endless upward march of fuel prices, to help families in Waveney."

Well done Peter! We need more MPs like him.

JACKIE DOYLE-PRICE IS MP OF THE WEEK.

Our hero this week is Jackie Doyle-Price (pictured), MP for Thurrock. Mrs Doyle-Price has been campaigning hard for cheaper petrol and diesel prices, in her East End constituency.

Speaking exclusively to PetrolPromise.com, she said:

"The cost of diesel and petrol is a real burden to hard working people up and down the land.  I am pleased that the Government has frozen fuel duty for the last two years and stopped the tax rises planned by Labour.  I will continue to use my voice to persuade the Government to continue to resist increases in duty."

Well done Jackie! We need more MPs like her.
